STUDIO HIRE AGREEMENT

BOOKING & PAYMENT

  • Studio hire is confirmed with payment of a 50% deposit and the balance to be payable 48 hours before the date of hire.

  • Casual hirers: Studio must be paid in full prior to hire
  • Regular weekly or ongoing: hire must be paid in advance and will be invoiced on a monthly basis
  • Key deposit: all hirers that are provided with a key must pay a $20 key deposit (refundable upon return)
  • Studio hire cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will still be charged at the full price.

GENERAL HIRE RULES & REQUIREMENTS

  • The venue must be left in the state in which it was entered. Hirer will be charged cleaning costs if necessary.
  • Hirers must not exceed the agreed hire time.
  • Times Performing Arts Academy require ‘dance specific’ shoes to be worn.
  • No stiletto heels allowed in studios.
  • Music and Noise Levels – Must not exceed the volume level marked on the speakers. This for compliance purposes in accordance with noise restrictions.
  • Upon entering and leaving Times Performing Arts Academy studios you and/or those under your supervision must conduct themselves in a safe and professional manner. Mindful of our neighbours.  Please keep the noise to a minimum.

COVID COMPLIANCE MEASURES

  • To limit time and person-to-person contact on site, hirers and their students/participants must arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before booked hire time.
  • “Get in, dance, get out” approach means be prepared, changed if possible, and minimal use of shares facilities.
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitiser is available at all entry/exit points and easily accessible in each studio during activities.
  • Any studio equipment used, ie. ballet barres, stereo sound systems, etc. must be wiped down at the end of use. There will be cleaning supplies stationed in each studio.
  • Register of attendees: hirers must keep a register of all attendees with their names, contact details, date and time of attendance, and provide these details to Times Performing Arts Academy in the event that we are required to collect trading information.
