Our Approach to Child Safety
At Times Dance, our top priority is ensuring that all children are safe and feel safe. We are committed to creating environment where all children are safe and feel confident and secure in our school. We strive to embed child safe practices at every level in our school’s policies and culture.
Measures we have in place include:
- All staff holds a valid Working with Children Check clearance and we maintain a record to ensure these clearances are current.
- We undertake reference checks from prior employers prior to permanent and casual staff commencing their employment.
- We have a Child Safety and Protection Policy in place. A copy is available on our website.
- The Responsible Person (who is in the day-to-day operation of our school) undertake child protection training.
- All service providers who regularly attend the school are required to have valid working with children checks.
