Welcome to Times Performing Arts Academy. The dance studio for your child to be trained in the art of dance with an encouraging environment to explore, grow, develop and relish in the wonderful world of dance.
Times Performing Arts Academy is established in 2006 by Nancy Wang and Patrick Liu. Both Nancy and Patrick are professionally trained, successfully competed and performed internationally. Before settling in Australia, both Nancy and Patrick have been reputable and well known dance teachers in China. Under their tutelage and guidance, Times Performing Arts Academy’s students have had for the last 10 consecutive years won the DanceSports championships at State and National levels under different age groups.
With over 20 years of professional technical training and teaching experience, we will guide your child to develop to their fullest dance potential.
In recognition of its outstanding performance of a Registered Teaching Facility for achieving the highest participation rate by its Recreational Competitors Nationally, Times Performing Arts Academy has been awarded with the RTF of the Year Award for 2018 and 2019 by the DanceSport Australia. We are very proud of this milestone achievement, thanks to the efforts of both our dedicated teachers and students.
At Times Performing Arts Academy, we believe in contributing back to the community and at the same time raise awareness of cultural interests and knowledge within the community. We actively participate in Councils’ events throughout the year. Our students perform at the following events held by various Councils each year :-
- Chinese Lunar New Year
- Mid-Autumn Festival
- Chinese National Day
- Whitehorse Council Spring Festival
